Then great minds simply think alike. Only yours are Russian, and mine are Hiberno-Saxon - a significant difference I think.

I've never seen your work until now, having done many searches online for "Beatles Saints" or "Beatles Religious Icons," and never finding anything. I saw you joined deviant art a week ago, so you can understand my concern, I hope.

I hope to see more of these.

some are Russian style, some early Italian.Ironically most of my work for churches is Byzantine. I love the Hiberno Saxon tradition do you know the book by st Bede? The History of the English Church and People. I could teach you to paint proper icons if you wish, I was trained many years ago by a great master, I know all the traditional techniques.

I do know the book!

And thank you very much, but I am also trained classically but choose not to paint in that fashion. Perhaps if one day I decide to do a series of classically based pieces I could ask for some pointers - thank you very much.
